Random Barcelona (day 1 and 2)

Pasamos nuestra primera noche en Razzmatazz, sitio al que recomiendo ir, como dice Clara ''hay que ir una vez en la vida, por lo menos''.

Y como no podía ser de otra manera, la serie de catastróficas desdichas que empezó con los dichosos controladores, acabó en comisaría, ya que me robaron la cartera en Razz con todo y encima me cogieron el ticket del ropero y se llevaron el preciado abrigo de mi padre!!!

Pero desdichas a parte, intenté disfrutar al máximo del viaje,

porque cosas así le pueden pasar a cualquiera. 

* We spent the first night in Razzmatazz, highly recommended disco in BCN.

It was incredible awesome, but as you know, the series of unfortunate events were accompanied us since the very beginning of our trip, so finally we ended in a nearby police station because someone stole my purse with everything and my coat too!!!

But after all, I tried to forget the bad luck and have the best time ever!!

These are the pics I took the Sunday after the ''tragedy'' and on Monday. 

...the aviator jacket and the cape are Clara's,

because as you know, someone stole my coat! 

Otra cosa que os recomiendo cuando visitéis BCN es subir al Tibidabo y entrar en el parque de atracciones. Es increíble!!

Another thing highly recommended is the famous Tibidabo, a mountain overlooking BCN.

The views and the fun fair are awesome!! 

Y para el próximo post colgaré todas las fotos de fiesta, porque me merecen un post especial para ellas solas.

Barcelona (day 1)

Todo empezó el sábado en Barajas cuando nos dijeron que gracias a ''nuestros queridos amigos'' los controladores aéreos, todos los vuelos estaban cancelados.
Entonces no nos lo pensamos y decidimos cambiar la rapidez del avión por las 8 horas del autobús.
Este es el principio de un viaje inolvidable, conocido ya como ''una serie de catastróficas desdichas''. 
De momento os enseño las primeras fotos que tomamos en alguna parte de nuestro amplio recorrido de 8 horas entre Madrid y Barcelona.


* Everything started last Saturday at the airport when we were informed that thanks to our 'dear' air traffic controllers all flights in Spain were cancelled.
So, we decided to change the comfort and speed of a plane for an 8-hours bus.
This is the beginning of an unforgettable trip, which is now known as 'a series of unfortunate events' (...another story for another post....), but for now, I'm going to show you the very first pictures we took in the middle of somewhere between Madrid and Barcelona, where the bus stopped for 15 minutes. 

...this place could be Poland.....don't you think?

Gothicism

Well, when I saw the new theme Hypeed proposed a week ago, called Gothic chic, inspired by Givenchy SS2011, I had the need to document myself a little bit about it.
So, I watched the last show, read some interesting information about Riccardo Tisci, creative director of the Haute Couture, ready-to-wear and accessories lines for Givenchy and watched some interviews and videos. 
And, This is why I love Givenchy SS 2011.

Flaming Flea Market & Friends

Hace dos semanas mi querida Rosana celebró un mercadillo vintage en su casita. 
Fue una tarde perfecta: ropa vintage, buena música, muchos dulces, pujas... pero sobretodo buenísima compañía.


** Two weeks ago my dear Rosana celebrated a flea market in her place. 
It was the perfect afternoon: vintage clothes, good music, lots of sweets, biddings.... but the best was the people I met there.

Beba's Closet

...todo comenzó allá por septiembre de 2010,

eran las 12.30 de la mañana de un nublado viernes...

Beba’s Closet fue mi primer desfile y todos sabemos que el primero es algo mágico y especial.

El jueves pasado Clara y yo pudimos conocer el  atelier de Belén Barbero, 

el alma de Beba’s Closet.

Allí estaban Belén y Carolina, majísimas y con las que descubrimos este pequeño rinconcito del centro de Madrid llamado Beba’s Closet.

Fue increible poder redescubrir de la mano de Belén todos esos detalles que no pudimos apreciar bien durante el desfile.

Linos, rafias, botones artesanales de madera y laca, cinturones de cuerda de cáñamo, volantes…

‘'La colección Primavera Verano 2011 de Beba’s Closet es el resultado inevitable de esas colecciones de fotos familiares, de esas montañas de recuerods que provocan los veranos de la infancia y de la fuerte influencia de una mujer que consiguió transmitirle a Beba esa passion por los detalles más delicados, por la pureza de los veranos de antes, sencillos y auténticos, los buenos veranos…’’

Desde quiero dar las gracias a Belén por abrir las puertas de su maravilloso taller y a Carolina por acordarse de nosotras.
