La Croisette, Teresa Helbig s/s 2012

La Croisette, famoso paseo de Cannes, es el escenario de esta colección. Prendas con aires sesenteros y con ese acento francés tan propio de los veranos en la Costa Azul. Como bien dice la diseñadora, los tonos son los de siempre, blancos y beiges, pero por primera vez arriesga incluyendo morados, amarillos y verdes esmeralda. Los vestidos largos, vaporosos y ultra femeninos vuelven otra vez y tan bonitos como los del año pasado, ¿os acordáis?. Mis preferidos los verdes, tanto el que llevó Marina Pérez como el de Carmen Kaas, que además me recuerdan al de Keira Knightley en Expiación. 

Como siempre una de mis colecciones preferidas, y es que Teresa Helbig nunca defrauda.

La Croisette, the famous boulevard in Cannes, is the scenery of this collection. Clothes with that retro feeling and that French accent typical of the Blue Coast summers. The color palette varies from white and beige to purple, yellow, pink and emerald green. Long, light and feminine dresses appear again, like last year's collection, do you remember it? My favourite are the wonderful green dresses Carmen Kaas and Marina Perez wore in the show, they remind me to much of the green one Keira Knightley wore in Atonement. 

As always, this has been one of my favourite collections, Teresa Helbig never disappoints you.

Without a doubt one of my favourite collections shown in NYFW until now.

Pastel colours, baby collars, midi length skirts and dresses.

Romanticism and gentleness. 

One of the things I love about fashion weeks is to get to know new

designers, unknown at least for me. This the case of Tracy Reese.

This Afro American designer plays with colorful and feminine silhouettes

combining florals with lace, retro one-piece swimsuits,

palazzo pants, all combined with colorful platforms. 

Perfection! 

Easy to wear and slightly preppy,

straw hats, leather-braided flats, midi-length dresses...

Inspired by the early-sixties.

Sorry for my absence but I needed a break from the blog world.

How I Met Facehunter

Ayer los planetas no se alinearon ni tampoco hubo luna llena.
Ayer, Yvan Rodic, aka Facehunter, Cynthia, aka The Lithium Girl, y una servidora se divertían charlando en la libreria Panta Rhei en el Malasaña más profundo. El motivo no era otro que la firma del famoso libro de Yvan. 
Hablar con una de las personas que más admiras, fue para mi algo increíble que jamás olvidaré. Yvan siempre ha sido y es uno de mis fotógrafos de street style preferidos y una continua fuente de inspiración. Él es un tio majísimo, hasta nos invitó a la afterparty en el Nasti Club, pero vivimos lejos del centro, como buenas outsiders, y la cosa se complicó. 

Yesterday planets didn't line up and there wasn't full moon.

Yesterday, Yvan Rodic, aka Facehunter, Cynthia, aka The Lithium Girl, and myself, were enjoying a nice talk at Panta Rhei bookshop in Madrid. 

Motive: Yvan's book signing.

It was really nice meeting Yvan, he is the best. We were talking about lots of things. 

It was such an honour for me, he is one of my favourite street style photographers and he was just in front of my face!! It's not everyday you get to meet such an inspirational person!! He even invited us to the afterparty at Nasty Club, but we couldn't go, we live far away from Madrid's city centre and it was a bit complicated.

Hace como un mes, disfruté de un genial fin de semana en Granada con mis primas y mi amiga Isa. Me lo pasé genial. Granada es una ciudad increíble. Allí me compré mi nueva mochila de cuero, en una zona plagada de teterías y tiendecitas literalmente sacadas de un zoco marroquí!!


About a month ago I spent the weekend with my cousins in Granada. 
It was amazing. I bought this leather backpack in a Moroccan market there. I love it!
