Things to do!

I've realized that most of the things that inspires me lately are related to home decoration.
And this is obviously because I can't wait to decorate my own home.
I really hope I can do it soon.
Meanwhile these are some of the things I am planning to do when moving in.
 

1. Wallpaper: I've never had wallpaper at home, but it's one of the things I'm going to try, and I can change it anytime I want.

 2. A big window with no curtains. This in particular is beautiful!

 3. Wall decorations: some photos and little postcards are perfect. And the idea of the frame with the shelf inside is amazing, don't you think? 

 4. Exposed brick wall: You either love it or hate it. I've always liked the beauty and historical character of exposed brick, but never been lucky enough to have one. The color and texture can be a challenge when decorating, but I think brick can be more flexible than you think. 

5. Again wallpaper: this time in the kitchen and with funny drawings. Love!!!

 6. Steel bed: This bed brings me memories of my past. I used to sleep on a similar one in my hometown with my great-aunt during the summer. I need one!

7. Again wallpaper but this time in the bedroom and with flowers. 

8. This trunk night table is definitely one of the things I need to have next to my bed.

With a little help from my friends

These Zara babies arrived in the mail some days ago. They are beautiful, perfect for summer nights and even for next season. But I've found them not as comfortable as I expected, so here I am, not knowing if I should keep them or not, I still have 20 days to think about it. That's why I'm gonna need your help my friends. If you have them, let me know if they comfortable enough to wear them at least for 3 hours!  Should they stay home with me or not????? What do you think????

The Perfect Summer Sandal

So today begins my personal search for the perfect summer sandal. It's been a bit complicated since the perfect summer sandal isn't all that easy to find. But I've made my homework and these are my all time favourites. Now I have to clear up my mind and choose one of these amazing sandals (or maybe two! sales time isn't that far away).

Sister Power

One of my favourite brands when it comes to jewelry is DANNIJO. 

So once again, I checked it out and discovered that this brand was founded in 2008 by sisters Danielle and Jodie Snyder. They started designing and selling pieces in high school and now DANNIJO is sold at select, high-end stores and boutiques around the world including Net-a-porter and many more.

The story behind the brand is amazing, you should read it in their bio. 
DANNIJO is a mix of ''Danielle’s bohemian, rocker vibe combined with Jodie’s timeless sophistication ''.

Next pictures belong to a collaboration Leandra (The Man Repeller) did some months ago with the brand, co-designing some pieces along with the Dannijo sisters. The collection is called Eye Spies and it's amazing!!!!!

Flat-shoes syndrome

almost Every girl in the world wants to be taller, that's why we use high heels.

I do love high heels, wedges, platforms, everything that makes me some cms taller.

But I have noticed something strangely weird  every morning when I get dressed and even when I go shopping,

most of the time I find myself wearing flat shoes almost every day and I end up buying flat shoes almost every time I go shopping

 (my last 3 purchases were flat shoes!!!!!).

Ok. I think I'm developing the famous flat-shoes syndrome.

So that's why I've decided to make some collages full of great ideas of flat-shoes syndrome girls wearing, obviously, flat shoes, 

that, in my opinion, are AMAZING.

And after spending hours and hours looking for flat-shoes-girls to show you,

I must confess that I love being a flat-shoes-girl myself

and that I am very proud of it!!

Love story

Some time ago I was checking my favourite blogs and then in one of them I saw this beautiful collection. 
I wrote down the name of the brand in a piece of paper and lost it. 
But yesterday I found this paper and here it is.

Let me introduce you to the amazing Lazzari, a gorgeous Italian brand.
 Ok, I must confess I have a huge crush on it but how could I not fall in love with this pictures???!!

Anyway, we've been together since then, we can't be separated anymore.

And this is my love story, hope you like it!

The so called Capsule Collection

It's very typical nowadays that famous brands collaborate with well-known bloggers. This is the case of Six London, an amazing showroom that sells some important brands such as Opening Ceremony, and FarFetch.

I think is one of my favourite collections so far, because the bloggers behind it are also my favourites too. 

Todos nos hacemos eco de las mil y una colaboraciones que surgen entre marcas de moda y bloggers. Es algo muy extendido y popular. 

La primera (y única) vez que compré algo diseñado por un blogger fue la funda para cámara de Kipling que diseñó hace un año Andy de Stylescrapbook y la verdad es que estoy muy contenta con ella. 

Six London y FarFetch no han querido ser menos y han contado con 6 bloggers para diseñar unos zapatos acordes con sus personalidades. La verdad es que los resultados no me pueden gustar más. 

My favourite are Caroline, Leandra and Steve's boots.

Mis favoritos sin duda las botas rojas de Caroline de Stockholm Street Style y las de Leandra de The Man Repeller. Y de chico me quedo con las botas de Steve de Style Salvage, pero no para mi chico sino para mi también! xD

Summer breeze

Hacía mucho que no entraba en la web de Vero Moda y me ha gustado bastante la nueva campaña con Alexa Chung. 

Viendo las fotos me doy cuenta las ganas que tengo de que llegue ya el verano. Los vestidos son una monada, ¿no creéis?

He estado algo liada estos días, de ahí mi ausencia por estos mundos. 

No quiero adelantar cosas porque luego se me chafan. En breves tendréis noticias, o eso espero...

Babe, I'm in Shock

Hace justo una semana pude ver en directo el desfile de María Escoté y desde entonces estoy en Shock.
Esta dosis de color era justo lo que me pedía el cuerpo después de estar acostumbrada a colecciones de invierno repletas de tonos grises y negros.


*Now that MBFW Madrid is over, I want to show you my favourite collection. And this is Shock by María Escoté. I was bored because autumn/fall collections are always a bit dark and grey, but this colourful one is exactly what I needed.

Los ingredientes de este perfecto cóctel son transparencias, colores flúor y pastel, leopardo, cruces, cremalleras, estrellas, plataformas... Todo ello agitado y voilá!

*Fluorescent and pastel colours, transparencies, crosses, zippers, stars, platforms...all mixed up and voilá!

Y claro un desfile sin buena música no es un desfile!! Lo mejor sin duda fue para mi el descubrimiento de Nero (grupazo electro londinense). También sonaron Friendly Fires y para cerrar un tema que seguro más de uno hemos bailado, el Higher State of consciousness.

*The music was a very important element too. Friendly Fires, Nero and the famous Higher State of consciousness were, among others, the soundtrack for this amazing show.
